The most frustrating aspect of visiting Santana Row is about to be alleviated this summer. Parking has always been difficult at the shopping complex.

Already introduced are new signs that point drivers to available parking spots.

Collette Navarrette, Marketing Manager at Santana Row, tells South Winchester News that the new signs work through sensors that track the number of cars entering and exiting each location.

In our investiagtion, we noted that the outdoor parking lot along Winchester Boulevard had 4 spots available, but the parking sign indicated that the lot was full.

The biggest change for visitors is the completion of the parking garage expansion. Navarrette tells South Winchester News that the additional three levels of the parking garage along South Winchester Boulevard will be opening in July and will add an additional 805 parking spaces. A great feature is the addition of a new express ramp which will lead directly from South Winchester Boulevard to the parking garage’s third level. This will eliminate the need for drivers to slowly navigate through Santana Row’s pedestrian-laden streets to the parking garage entrances.
